***** Happy Fall *****

Bee very afraid~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~ My precious friend Tiffany and her baby, Tank- in his Halloween costume.
All Hallows Eve........................................
............................ is almost here. Between your preparation for trick or treaters and decorating for parties don't forget to take a breath and enjoy all of it.
I have been lucky enough this year to go on an evening hayride in the beautiful hills of Kentucky and I went to two haunted houses- one was also a hayride into the woods then we were dropped off and left to go through the scary buildings. They were great!
Thanks so much for taking me Tiffany!
Happy Halloween everyone!
Prayers Needed, Please
We really need your prayers..... My cousin's little boy who just turned four years old has cancer. He had surgery on the 26th of December to remove a very large tumor around his lung. He had been taking chemo to shrink the tumor in order for the doctor's to perform surgery. The tumor was not "dead" as the doctor's had thought and little Robert Donald Stepp had to immediately start radiation and more chemo. He has a 50% survival rate.
His parents have set up a website through Caring Bridge http://caringbridge.org/visit/robertstepp Please...please visit the site to read his story. Robert and his family really need all the prayers that you have to give. We would appreciate you passing this website on to everyone that you know and adding him to your church prayer lists also. Again, please check out his story at http://caringbridge.org/visit/robertstepp.
Thank you so much!
The primitive Easter eggs on a wire are app. 7" tall. I also have three of those left and they are $9 each + shipping. I have only 1 of the set of 3 wooden carrots left. Including the stems they are app. 7" long. They are $5 for the set of three + shipping.
Altered Art on a vintage tray. This is the only one I have. I made a paper pocket on the tray that holds two neat altered tags. Measures 7" wide and 5" tall. This tray is $12 + shipping.
This photo is of the extra tag that goes in the pocket.
I want to tell you about two terrific books that I purchased over the holidays. The first is "Where Women Create" by Jo Packham. I have been wanting this book for awhile now and let me just say it was well worth the wait. This book is a must for anyone who uses space in their home or studios to create anything.
The second book is "Country Living's Merry & Bright". This book has so many decorating, gift giving and recipe ideas. You should really treat yourself to this one as well.
I'm including some photos of some items that I've made. I decided to put them on the blog before I posted them on an auction. If you're interested in any of these items please email me. Thanks!
I have three of the primitive bunny ornaments left. They are each app. 9" tall and are $9 each + shipping.
My Christmas this year was wonderful. It's all about family. My husband, Eric, and I have lived away from home for almost 2 years. So, we took our Aunt Jeanette, that lives in Ohio, to our home state of Texas for Christmas at my parents. Eric's employment brought us here to Kentucky from central Texas in Feb.'06 and any chance we get to go home is a real treat. We visited with family and friends, ate too much and just like that Christmas vacation was over. Still, it was wonderful to see everyone.
